  Trying out specific watercolor techniques. In this one the goal was to create even washes, try some glazing, and gradients. Then I had some fun with crayons.

  I wasn’t paying much attention to composition here, just playing with technique. If I was to do it again, the composition would get a lot looser and sillier.

  I did an illustration for a private consulting company to use in an upcoming presentation regarding economic strategy. The concept was to illustrate the reluctance we feel to leave the relative stability during a tough economic climate, and start taking money-making risks again.

  Credit for the visual metaphor goes to the client, and I really like idea.
